About the Role
The Internal Auditor delivers end-to-end internal audit processes, from scoping through to reporting. The role completes a range of financial and non-financial internal audit projects. The Internal Auditor promotes continuous improvement, compliance, efficiency and risk management practices. The role works closely with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement practical and pragmatic improvements to address identified issues. The role provides reports to the Risk and Audit Committee and monitors progress improvements.
This is a full-time, ongoing role, based in the Melbourne CBD.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
• Tertiary qualifications in commerce or business
• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) would be beneficial
• At least 3 years’ experience in an internal audit role
• Experience within the not-for-profit or government sector desirable
The successful candidate will:
• Have a Working with Children Check
• Have the right to work in Australia on a full-time permanent basis
• Undergo a National Police Check before commencement
