About the Role
The Administration Support provides general administration to the Governance & Administration Team. Reporting directly to the Manager Administration & Secretariat Governance the role for example, supports committees, prepares agendas, takes minutes, maintains accurate electronic filing systems, updates office rosters and coordinates hospitality. The role assists with the bi-annual Synod meeting and other milestone events. As part of a rotating roster the Administration Support also provides reception duties.
This is a full-time ongoing role, based in the Melbourne CBD.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualifications in administration and/or related fields and/or relevant experience. Tertiary qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
- Over 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- An understanding of the Uniting Church's structure and procedures would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a Working with Children Check
- Have the right to work in Australia full time
- Undergo a National Police Check before commencement
